Organization Description

 

Ottawa Bota Farm is a small farm in Delaware County, Ohio run by the Calvin Family.

The Calvin Family collect horse, steam and tractor powered farm equipment. 

The Calvin's take pride in having operational equipment that they can demonstrate for

everyone to enjoy.  The Calvin Family opens their farm for everyone to enjoy the

second weekend in July and the first weekend in November each year.  The demonstrations

are educational and spectators are encouraged to participate.  Wheat harvest from the field

to flour is shown in July.  Corn harvest from field to meal is shown in November. 

Ottawa Bota Farm will also be hosting the 2011 Ohio State Hand Corn Husking

Competition in October.
